Sam Barclay
Hi, my name is Sam Barclay, and I am based in Bristol. My Reiki journey began about 10 years ago. I didn’t know what it was, but I’ve always loved all things spiritual, holistic, and alternative, so I thought “why not?”! Over time I started to have regular sessions and in 2014, I decided to learn Level 1. I thought it would be great as I could give myself Reiki whenever I wanted and help family and friends on the odd occasion too. In 2015, I trained in Level 2, to simply increase my experience and knowledge but still for my own personal use. However, it just didn’t seem to resonate with me enough, so I continued as I was. Fast forward a few years, and I got to see a different side to Reiki, enabling me to look back and see how much Reiki had benefited me. This allowed me to develop a deeper love, connection, and appreciation for Reiki, all of which I can say was life changing!
I come from a corporate background originally, in Sales and Customer Service, but decided I wanted to give other people the opportunity to experience what I had. I wanted to do something that has meaning and that can help people. I believe you can really connect with people when you’re authentic, genuine and speak from experience. I have always had a desire to help people, I just never knew how until that lightbulb moment. Therefore, I proudly present to you, Aura Storm!
I chose to retrain in Level 1 and 2 of Reiki and furthered my training to became a Reiki Master, as well as a verified Reiki Professional Practitioner. The verified Reiki Professional Practitioner status means I now meet the National Occupational Standards for Reiki, as well as the educational standards for professional practice as set by The Reiki Council.
I am registered with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC), which means that I am certified to practice in hospitals and other healthcare settings. I am determined to provide a professional and thorough treatment but with the warmth and care it always deserves. The training I have completed above, ensures I am achieving that.
Becoming an EFT practitioner thereafter, felt like the natural next step for me. It enables people to have a tool that they can use on themselves, whenever they needed to and for them to have the ability to bring peace and balance to their mind, body and soul in-between their sessions with me.
Over time, it was clear that all this had opened up my spiritual connection. I chose to, and continue to, deepen and strengthen my connection. This opened up the doorway into Tarot card readings; something I have always loved and appreciated over the years.
At Aura Storm, I have created the perfect space from my home. Somewhere that ensures my customers feel relaxed, comfortable and allows them to escape the stresses of day-to-day life. I am amazed by the experiences I have had with my customers so far and feel privileged to be a part of their journey; helping them feel better, be better and live better. It would be an honour to be a part of yours too.
